Privacy Policy

Unotag Technologies Pvt Ltd ("Unotag", "we", "us") provides channel-loyalty and incentives software to enterprise customers across India. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share and protect personal information when you use our products, websites and services.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three broad categories:

  • Account information — names, work emails, phone numbers and roles of users you provision in the Unotag platform.
  • Channel-program information — retailer, dealer, mason, painter and influencer details that you upload to the platform; QR scans, invoice photographs and order data created during the program.
  • Technical information — IP, device, browser, language, time-zone and product-usage data needed to operate, secure and improve the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide, maintain and improve the Unotag platform; to issue payouts to your channel partners through licensed payment partners; to comply with our legal obligations; and to communicate with you about service issues and product updates.

3. Sharing

We share information only with: (a) our subprocessors (cloud hosting, payment partners, communications platforms) under written data-processing agreements; (b) regulators and authorities where compelled by law; and (c) successors in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to equivalent protections.

4. Data residency

All personal data of Indian residents is stored on servers located within India, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP).

5. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with our legal and audit obligations, or resolve disputes. On contract termination, customer data is deleted or returned within 60 days.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, data principals may request access, correction, erasure, portability and grievance redressal. Write to dpo@unotag.com.
